1. 왜 만들었나

한국에 도착한 외국인이 막히는 지점은 언어가 아니라 절차입니다. 병원은 동네 의원부터 가야 하고, 진료과는 본인이 고르며, 약은 병원이 아니라 약국에서 받습니다. 체류 연장은 만료 4개월 전부터 되지만 출입국 예약 슬롯이 먼저 동납니다. 어느 것도 어렵지 않은데, 어디에도 한 줄로 적혀 있지 않습니다.

SeoulTrip은 그 한 줄을 모아 둔 곳입니다. 여행자와 거주자가 "지금 뭘 해야 하지"에서 멈추지 않도록, 순서·비용·필요 서류·연락처를 한 화면에 둡니다.

2. 누가 운영하나

법인이 아니라 개인 1인이 운영합니다. 사업자등록이 없고 상품·서비스를 판매하지 않으며, 운영 비용은 광고와 자발적 후원으로 충당합니다. 편집에 관여하는 외부 투자자·광고주·제휴사는 없습니다.

연락 창구는 SeoulTrip 운영 담당([email protected])입니다. 개인정보보호법 §30①은 보호책임자의 "성명 또는 부서의 명칭과 연락처"를 요구하므로, 운영자 개인의 성명 대신 창구 명칭과 이메일을 공개합니다.

3. 정보를 모으고 검수하는 방식

1. 1차 출처에서 시작합니다. 수수료·과태료·보험 적용 범위·공휴일 같은 값은 그 값을 정하는 기관에서 가져옵니다 — 국가법령정보센터, 법무부 출입국·외국인정책본부, 국민건강보험공단, 국세청, 한국관광공사 등입니다. 같은 숫자를 옮겨 적은 영문 블로그는 출처로 쓰지 않습니다. 실제로 2026-09-20 외부 검수에서 드러난 비자 수수료 오류 세 건은 전부 그런 2차 자료에서 들어온 것이었습니다.
2. 사람이 확인합니다. AI 초안이 있어도 게시 전에 사람이 1차 출처와 대조합니다. 상세는 편집 원칙에 있습니다.
3. 자동으로 썩는 것을 잡습니다. 배포 전 스크립트가 사이트의 모든 외부 링크를 실제로 열어 보고(인증서 포함) 응답하지 않으면 배포를 막습니다. 안내 문구의 "검수 일자"가 9개월을 넘겨도 같은 방식으로 막힙니다.
4. 못 채운 곳은 비워 둡니다. 근거 없는 수치를 채우느니 그 항목을 쓰지 않습니다.

4. 한계

비자·의료·법률·세무 정보는 정보이지 자문이 아닙니다. 의사·변호사·행정사의 검수를 받지 않으며, 각 가이드 하단에 그 사실과 확인해야 할 공식 기관을 함께 적어 둡니다. 규정과 요금은 바뀝니다 — 중요한 결정 전에는 반드시 원문을 확인하십시오.

1. Why this exists

What stops foreigners in Korea is rarely the language — it is the procedure. You are meant to start at a neighbourhood clinic, pick the department yourself, and collect medicine from a pharmacy rather than the clinic. You can extend your stay from four months before expiry, but the immigration slots run out before that window does. None of it is hard. It is just written down nowhere in one line.

SeoulTrip is that line, collected. Order of steps, cost, documents, and the number to call — on one screen, so nobody stalls at "what do I do now?".

2. Who runs it

One individual, not a company. There is no business registration, nothing is sold, and running costs are covered by advertising and voluntary tips. No investor, advertiser or partner has any say in what is published.

The contact desk is SeoulTrip operations ([email protected]). Korea's Personal Information Protection Act §30(1) requires the privacy officer's "name or the name and contact details of the department", so the desk name and email are published in place of the operator's personal name.

3. How the information is gathered and checked

1. Primary sources first. Fees, fines, insurance coverage, public holidays — anything with a number — come from the body that sets it: the Korea Law Information Center, the Korea Immigration Service, the National Health Insurance Service, the National Tax Service, the Korea Tourism Organization. English blogs restating those numbers are not treated as sources. The three wrong visa fees an external review found on 2026-09-20 had all arrived that way.
2. A person checks it. Where there is an AI draft, a person reconciles it against the primary source before it publishes. The detail is in the editorial policy.
3. Rot is caught mechanically. Before each release a script opens every outbound link on the site — certificate included — and blocks the release if one stops answering. The same gate fails a "reviewed" date older than nine months.
4. Gaps stay empty. Where we cannot source a figure, we leave the item out rather than fill it in.

4. Limits

Visa, medical, legal and tax pages are information, not advice. No doctor, lawyer or licensed 행정사 reviews them, and every guide says so at its foot alongside the agency that can answer properly. Rules and fees change — confirm at the source before anything that matters.
