About this tool

The Korean address card turns a place name into a full-screen card a taxi driver can read at a glance: the address in Hangul, its romanization and a KakaoMap QR code. Use it when you cannot say the address aloud or the driver does not read English.

How to use it

  1. Type the name of your destination: a landmark, a subway station or an airport.
  2. Pick the matching result from the list.
  3. Show the full-screen card to the driver, or let them scan the QR code with KakaoMap.

Good to know

  • Search covers 18 hand-picked landmarks, stations and airports. Kakao place search widens the results only when it is connected, so a very small shop may not be found; copy its address from your booking instead.
  • Check that the name on the card matches your booking before you hand it over. The card gives the address, not the route.
