Highlights

History

Eurwangni Beach (乙旺里海水浴場) is also called Neulmok or Eolhang. It was designated a National Tourist Site in 1986.

Developed early on as a national resort, it has, unusually for a beach, a wide lawn and places to stay. There are a student campground and training grounds for youth group programs, and it is also popular with university students for group retreats (MT).

If you hire a boat and head out to sea, you can catch goby, rockfish, greenling, butterfish, Chinese herring and more. It is an all-round resort where you can enjoy swimming, sports and fishing in one place.

Tips

The average water depth is 1.5m, not deep, so many families come here. When the tide goes out, the beach widens to about 200m.

Get off the Airport Railroad at Incheon International Airport Station, take bus No. 7 or 306, and get off at the Eurwangni Beach stop. The low-floor bus that stops here is No. 204. You can ask the Incheon Tourist Information Center (032-832-3031) how to get there.

Outside the beach's official season, going into the water may be restricted. The showers also operate only during the season.

Eurwangni Public Parking Lot has 6 accessible parking spaces, and the main entrance has no step, so you can get in by wheelchair. The accessible toilet is in the Integrated Safety Management Center.
