Business hotel (3–4★)

비즈니스 호텔

Solo / couple, English check-in, breakfast buffet, near subway. Default safe bet.

Luxury hotel (5★)

특급호텔

Anniversary, business VIP, families wanting pool + buffet.

  • ⚠ Check whether the rate shown includes 10% VAT and any service charge

Hanok stay (traditional house)

한옥 스테이

A unique Korean night — sliding doors, paper screens, ondol heated floor.

  • ⚠ Sleep on a yo (futon) on the floor, not a bed
  • ⚠ Bathrooms are usually small / shared in older hanoks

Guesthouse (private + dorm rooms)

게스트하우스

Backpackers, social travelers — common kitchen + lounge.

  • ⚠ House rules around quiet hours vary widely
  • ⚠ Ask for the door code if you will be back late

Motel (Korean style)

모텔

Last-minute, late-night, no advance booking.

  • ⚠ Heavily themed rooms can be jarring
  • ⚠ Bring ID — you may be asked for it at check-in

Jjimjilbang (spa-and-sleep, many open 24h)

Late arrival, missed last subway, cheap night.
