Highlights

History

Wolmido Island (月尾島) has almost no records until the late Joseon period, apart from a record that a temporary royal palace was placed here in 1653, the 4th year of King Hyojong. From the late 1920s through the 1930s it was crowded as a well-known amusement resort. With the creation of the Culture Street in July 1989, it again became one of Incheon's favorite places for an outing.
