The 5-step Hangang picnic

  1. 1
Step 1 — buy a mat at the station convenience store
Picnic mats ₩5–15k. Reusable; carry in a bag back.
  2. 2
Step 2 — order food via app, delivered to the park
Most parks have a public delivery zone marked. Put the spot pin in Baemin / Coupang Eats / Yogiyo (use our concierge if app sign-up fails). Pizza, fried chicken and Korean food arrive within 30–45 min.
  3. 3
Step 3 — grab cold drinks at the conv. store
Cass / Terra beer, Chamisul soju, Pocari, makgeolli — sold cold at every station shop. Public drinking is legal.
  4. 4
Step 4 — find a flat spot away from the path
Avoid bike-path edges. Most regulars set up 5–10m off the trail.
  5. 5
Step 5 — clean up — trash and recycling bins are everywhere
Sort plastic / cans / general. Mats go home with you.
