Maps & routing

SeoulTrip has no map of its own. For directions, open a map app — here is what each one says it offers.

Which map app?

  • •Naver Map — maps in Korean, English, Japanese and Chinese with English navigation, plus transit directions with real-time departures (Naver Map app listing).
  • •KakaoMap — routes by car, public transport, walking and bicycle, real-time bus arrivals and a subway map. Its app listing does not mention an English interface.
  • •Google Maps — in February 2026 Korea conditionally approved exporting its 1:5,000 map data to Google (korea.kr). What Google offers for directions in Korea may change, so check in the app before you rely on it.
