Traditional markets across Korea
1,393 markets in the national public register, 411 of them open only on set market days. Pick a region or search by name.
SeoulTrip never reads your device location — you choose the reference point yourself.
Markets on an official list first (K-관광마켓, Korea Tourism 100), then by registered stalls, largest first. A name on a list is not a visitor ranking.
Market days, stall counts and facilities come from local-government registers and can differ on the day — holidays, weather and merchants’ associations change them. Call before you go.
Market days follow the last digit of the calendar date: “2 · 7” means the 2nd, 7th, 12th, 17th, 22nd and 27th; “5 · 10” means the 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th and 30th. The 31st is never counted — SeoulTrip’s own rule, so a market never gets two days in a row.
Names and addresses stay in Korean as registered. Romanised names are automatic transliterations, not official English names.
